Cowes Sports Ladies FC are fortunate to have some of the best facilities for football matches, training, and social events on the Isle of Wight.
The first team play their games at Westwood Park, a 2000 capacity stadium currently regarded as the best pitch and ground on the Isle of Wight, and one that also includes it’s own bar and clubhouse.
Winter training is taken on the local 3G pitch and the Under 18s play and train at the Isle of Wight Community Club, just down the road from Westwood Park.
All of our facilities are within walking distance of one another, and are of a very good standard all around.
First Team Home Facilities
The first team for Cowes Sports Ladies FC play their home matches at Westwood Park, in Cowes on the Isle of Wight. With a capacity of 2000 it’s not only currently the largest football stadium on the Island, the pitch is also second to none.
The club has supporter, management, changing and pitch facilities to Wessex League standard, floodlights for evening matches and a tannoy system to keep you informed as to whats going on in the match.
The club has food and refreshments available before, during and after the match, and it also has a fully stocked bar and clubhouse open every match day too.
Under 18s Home Facilities
The Under 18s play their home matches at the Isle of Wight Community Club in Cowes, the place where it all started for Cowes Sports Ladies FC and a venue that will always hold a special place in our hearts.
With multiple pitches, good changing facilities, a social club that provides both food and drink throughout the day including Premier League football on the TV.
The social club is the perfect place for young players to learn the game whilst their parents can kick back in an open and relaxed, child friendly environment.
Cowes Ladies FC train throughout the year every Tuesday and Thursday between 18:30-20:00 (times subject to change) at various locations but all local to Cowes.
The first team train in the summer months occasionally at Westwood Park, but mostly at Northwood Recreational Ground, opposite the Community Club, which is where the under 18’s train at the same time.
During the winter months, training takes place at Cowes Enterprise College on their state of the art 3G pitch, ensuring that training can go ahead whatever the weather.
